How to request temporary admin privileges on a Mac

Your Antech issued Macs come with standard user access, which is good for day-to-day usage, but at times you may require elevated admin privileges. For example, installing an application from the App Store

For such requests, you can elevate your privileges using the self-service portal on your Mac-

Simply go to the self-service portal from the application tray

On the app, you can click on "Admin on Demand"

And click Request Admin Now

Ensure to add the correct justification for the elevated privileges

Read the message and click on continue

Your Admin privileges are ready, it is valid for 5 mins. If you need more time, you can simply request the privileges again.
