Advia Programming
- Change settings for rerunning samples
- Select print function for Path Reviews
- Program additional parameters
- Select Alarm stop criteria
- Verify species settings ( 6 user defined species only)
- Set Patient IDEE length
- Set Patient Data Transmission
- Set Patient Review Requirement.
1. Change settings for rerunning samples
Changing the settings below will result in sample reruns overwriting prior results
Modify FSE parameters
Customize>SystemSet Up>Tools Modify>FSE Parameters
Enter B00MFSEA at password prompt
Select File>LOAD> wst.ini then OK
Set Uiw_Mode = OVR
Set Uiw_Keep_RequestedTestOnly=N
Modify Customer Parameters
Customize>SystemSet Up>Tools Modify>Customer Parameters
Set item REPLACE SAMPLE IN COMPLETE WITH A WORKORDER to Y
Set Item SAMPLE SYSTEM FLAGS TRANSFER TO HOST to Y
Set Item “REVIEW NONE” MODE FOR CONTROL SAMPLES to Y
Select File>Save>OK and Exit
Check item LIST OF SAMPLE STATUS ALLOWED FOR QUERY ANSWERS is set to P/H/I/CC/C
2. Print Function for Path reviews
In the Review Edit screen select;
Parameter, Result report format, Dedicated.
3. Program Additional Advia Parameters
The below list includes tests required for LTP use. It is likely that many will require programming. If the code is presently programmed check the test and Host numbers against the list. To check/program these go to:
Customize>System Set up>Tools Modify>Test Dictionary.
Type in a code from the following table in the open box
Select Update
Enter WB next to type (may already be prefilled)
Enter Code name next to NAME (may already be prefilled)
Enter Test number and Host number
Select OK

4. Change Alarm stop criteria
Go to Customize>System Set Up>Alarm/Stop Criteria
Select Sample/System flagging
Set values for Alarm and Stop criteria from list below.

5. Verify Species Settings for these 6 user-defined species only
Go to Customize>System Set Up>User Defined Species
Only the six user defined species in the table below should be programmed.
Use the dropdown menu to choose the associated species.
Select Associate and Save. Enter OK at the message.
Delete any User defined Species not listed below
Highlight the species in the list to the right.
Select Delete and OK.

6. Set Patient IDEE length
Go to Customize>System Set Up> Tools Modify>Format
Select File>Load>trame par and OK at warning message.
Set IDEE=(12,R,Z)
Select File>Save and Exit.
7. Set patient Data Transmission
Go to Customize>Tools View >Routine parameters.
Check the box marked Patients in the Host Transmission section
Check the box marked Controls in the Host Transmission section
8. Set patient Review Requirement
Go to Data Manager> Sample Control Panel>Review/Edit>Parameter.
Select Review None.
Note: If difficulties with data transmission arise it is worth checking the Trame file is correctly loaded.
To do this go to Customize> System Set up>Tools Modify> Format.
Select File>Load>trame par and OK at the warning message.
Scroll down to Trame_ Y and Trame_R and ensure the sequence is as shown below.
